Am I able to purchase a subscription that is month to month or are there contract lengths?

For example, I knew I was visiting Mexico this summer, so I switched to a plan that let me us my data there. When switching plans I had the option to wait until my 30 day cycle was over on the old plan or immediately terminate my current plan. Now, when the summer is over, it will be easy for me to switch to a plan that doesn't include mexico.
I hope you're right on that. From what I can make out, once you've selected a high value regular plan like the Canada / Mexico / us plan....you won't be able to easily downgrade to a cheaper Canada only plan. Don't be surprised if it turns out you're locked in to your plan or something more costly.

Public Mobile has some customers on 90 day plans, so those customers are locked in for those 90 days or they lose the money paid.

You can't change it. They have 30 days cycle since day 1 and won't change it

Plans are 30 days. You can pause for 90 days but after 90 days your number will be gone.
