I started activating my son's phone and choose to port his number. He let me know that he lost the phone but didn't tell me. What can I do now? The screen is stuck on confirm your identity for full access and the code is being sent to the missing phone. I just want the phone to work and don't mind if he needs a new nber but I can't even pick that as an option now.

Okay! Thank you. I will try and reach out to the other carrier and if it does not work. He will need to live with a new number.

but I can also send you the porting team number private message you can get them to retrigger the port request for you . But first if you don’t have the old carriers sim in phone to reply YES to confirmation text . You will need to call them to see if they can verbally approve the port request
