Spoofed number

Hi,

 keep on getting calls and texts rrom people arguing I called them. People I call don’t pick up since my number appears as suspected spam. What can I do? HELP!

Nothing you can do if somebody spoof your number and call around your friends.

You can change your number but then you would have to notify Everybody of your new number. And then spoofing might occur again...

it's a common thing now, you cannot do anything, but it does not hurt you.  They just trying to make people believe it is a normal call so they pickup. Carriers should do something, not us.

this is Caller ID spoofing.

Scammer use system to fake the caller id to fool people to think a real person is calling and not those annoying sales calls. The one receive that call see your number and not aware of caller id spoofing and hence call you back and ask

Sorry, there is really nothing much you can do to stop, but you didn't have anything compromised.  So, thing to worry about
