@CS_Agent I need an agent to activate my plan as I purchased a $50 voucher. my father just died and I have no heat no car and live in a rural area with no phone and every agent keeps telling me that you can’t do so with a voucher. I don’t have any money on my debit card because I just spent it at the store on a $50 public mobile card so I don’t have another $50 to spend

Yeah, I would never ask somebody to borrow a credit card. I have my Visa debit, but I have no money on it because I spent the last $50 on this stupid voucher not knowing that you can’t activate a plan through it and I’m dealing with fraud myself at the moment, so I definitely Understand that mess all too well

I’m on ODSP and my father just passed away and I’m responsible in living here to cover all the bills. I don’t have another $50 otherwise I would’ve done that and saved myself the last 12 hours of back-and-forth. I don’t have another $50. I spent that last $50 I had because I needed a phone urgently buying that voucher Had a known public mobile doesn’t activate with a voucher I wouldn’t have done it had I known I was gonna go through all this I wouldn’t even have considered public mobile, especially the fact that there’s no customer service you can call lesson learned never again and I will be Definitely switching after this voucher gets used

HI @Michelmorano keep the voucher to use for renewal
to activate the account , you will need to get a Prepaid credit card and use it for activation.

Sorry to hear this they used to activate accounts with a voucher, however they no longer do it. Even knowing that nit everyone has a credit card, they've refused.
The voucher can only be used to pay for subsequent payments.
You need a credit card or visa/mc debit. And unless they are a parent or sibling, I wouldn't even recommend you borrowing from anyone ad that's another story for another time getting it removed.

Message Customer Support using the link I gave you. Request a senior agent to assist you. Be aware, you need a new esim..not a used one. Download the PM app to your cell to start that process.

I live two hours from any city or any sort of cell phone store 😞 I honestly would have never purchased a public mobile card. Had I known this and had I known that you couldn’t contact over the phone what a headache I’ve been trying for 12 hours so far when it rains it pours. I also read a comment on another post that they can activate with a voucher a lot of them just don’t know this and to ask for a manager I got the worst customer service agent very unhelpful and didn’t understand a thing I was even trying to explain

I'm not certain if the customer Support can activate the plan with a voucher but you can ask. You do need a Public Mobile sim so get that first. Here's a link to message Customer Support to enquire...

Get a sim on Amazon for about $5....fastest shipping.
added...see if there's a Mobile Klinik in your area or a Telus retail outlet...they also have the PM sims available..just don't order from Public Mobile as it could take up to 3 weeks for delivery via Canada Post.
