Look like the Network Band is compatible but not at 100%. I would like to know what impact it may have. Thank you

Its not too bad for LTE in Canada actually, has most of the main bands, just not 700Mhz - which is primarily for long range/rural. Urban areas should get decent coverage with LTE band 2/4/5/7.
FDD-LTE
Band2-1900MHz YES
Band4-AWS YES
Band5-850MHz YES
Band7-2600MHz YES
Band12-700MHz NO
Band17-700MHz NO
Band29-700MHz NO

Also thx for these fast answers.
Another option is the Xiaomi Note 9 pro for slightly more money. Xiaomi has never produced a phone that included the 700 Mhz LTE bands used in North America. I would not worry about that. I have used Xiaomi phones on the Public Mobile network without issue. They are a solid buy.

Network Band
- 3G: WCDMA: B1/2/4/5/8
- TDD-LTE B38/40/41(120MHz)
- FDD-LTE B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20/28
Don't forget to highlight LTE bands 2 and 5. The Xiaomi phones are always missing the 700 Mhz LTE bands, but not really a big problem though.

I would take the gift. Hopefully your area will have towers with those few LTE frequencies. The phone should be fine.
Can you provide the full model/submodel.

It doesn't seem to support 4G so you wouldn't have data or MMS.
Edit: I forgot about 3G.....but there are better choices out there in your price range.

It'll be fine on voice but it's a little light on LTE for here. You could get data via HSDPA (3G).
