I recently asked a question in the community and was given a few different but useful answers so when it came time to click "accept as solution" I wanted to click on 2 or 3 but only had the choice to pick one. It would be good if we could select more than one solution if applicable.
Solved! Go to Solution.

I understand your feelings on trying to choose a solution. I usually give myself sometime to choose a solution unless its an obvious and immediate fix. Like" Some people don't recieve my texts?" and "Toggle airplane mode on/off." That's a quick and easy solution to pick if it fixes the issue.
Other times the solution is more complex or 3 members give the correct solution in quick succession but one of them explains what causes it and how or why the solution fixes it or how to avoid the problem in the future. So i often consider what i learn from a members post when considering awarding the solution. Then i will bravo the others. If you change your mind...or if it was only a partial solution you can always edit the solution and award it to the complete answer.
"Contact the moderators." This solution i probably give the most consideration because ultimately this could be the solution to almost every issue. In the end many account related issues need the assistance of a moderator because they are the only ones that have access to your account but the info supplied by members before contact, while you wait and during your conversation with a moderator can affect result of the solution. Or it can't be fixed right away...so you post that you will give us an update. A week goes by the moderator comes back with an explanation and a fix. You give an update to your thread and reread the posts and find the one who identified (or guessed) the right answer.
I think its fantastic that you've given such thought to awarding a solution and members appreciate it especially new ones. It's a great feeling when you first help someone and you knew the solution. It's great sense of accomplishment because the learning curve is steeper for some. Hey I still get a thrill when I copy and paste a link correctly the first or second attempt!

@Rosguru, I agree with @computergeek541.
Instead, if you wanted to thank people for their input that was helpful in your situation, give them a bravo. Having a bravo would count towards in the quest for Community Rewards, but I would think just helping one another even without the bravo is being kind to one another. That's my two cents.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The answer that was the most accurate and helpful to the situation should be chosen, would more weight being given to the first instance of that same answer if the advice was repeated later on in the message thread. Often, memmbers don't know what to choose and will just say "thanks" and mark their own post as a solution (please don't mark solutions arbritrarily in this manner).
