If you download a new esim it will delete the previous one. So the new one that you downloaded is showing under the Profile in the SIM section but it's not working?
Then you would need to create a ticket and get PM to assist you.

I tried all those steps. i have been using this sim for few years. Yesterday i tried to download eSIM and for whatever reason my current sim stopped working. when i checked the sim number in the profile, it got changed.

@Liping77 the first thing I would recommend is to check the account status.
If everything is up to date then restart your phone to see if that will get it back online.
If not then do o a Network Reset. That should get it up and running again.
Also, if possible, you could try your sim card in another phone

Did you activate the SIM on the PM app?
If you are porting over your number from your previous carrier. Did you reply to the text with YES confirming you are porting over to PM? Is your previous account with the carrier still active? There is a 90 minute window. If you replied in time with the old SIM in your phone then reboot your phone by powering off then back on.
