I ordered a sim about 10 days ago and I still havent recieved aby shipping/delivery updates on it. I was hoping to recieve it on time to cancel my current plan before it's payment due date.

Yes. You would have to pay for it again. But once purchased, you just show a copy of the invoice to a CS Agent and they will credit your account.
Now, I understand some folks here are new so I'm not trying to belittle their comments. With that being said, if you contact a CS Agent first to ask for a refund, they will first tell you that it's been only 10 days. It takes time in the mail. If you ask for a refund anyways, then whatever plan you signed up with, you will lose it if its' not available anymore. You will not be able to sign back up with the plan. Contacting a CS Agent now is extremely premature. If you've lived in Canada long enough, you know how slow the mail service can be. LOL.
EDITED: Changed the word account to the word plan.

First, contact CS agent using the link I provided you. Ask them to reimburse, then pick p a SIM card at the nearest location.

Hey @PearlA
With the Canada Post strike just ending, there is a back log of mail being delivered. It's going to take at least 3-4 weeks to get it.
To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.
Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $4.99
