Got a new sim. Put it in the phone. It won't call. I keep trying to activate it but says invalid.

@Jessicalewisss1 - were you trying to complete the online activation pages here for the SIM card you obtained: https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/portal/activation. ?
Have you gotten past the payment section of the activation pages? If so, try your SIM into another compatible phone to see if you have services. This will rule out an issue with the phone you are trying to use.
If still issues with another phone, and you were charged for the activation, then ask customer support to check on the SIM card activation.

Did the SIM activate on the first try?
If it did, you need to power off the phone by holding down the power button, once it powers off then power the phone back on.

HI @Jessicalewisss1 are you trying to activate new line or replace old sim on your current account?
If it is a replacement, login to MY Account, click Change SIM Card and follow the process, this this page for more details

Did you activate your PM account/SIM on-line or in the store?
Try one of these remedies:
- Reboot device
- Reset network connections
- Toggle airplane mode on/off
- Re-seat - remove SIM for a few minutes and then reinsert SIM card back
- Ensure device is compatible and not locked to another carrier or blacklisted
