I bought a sim card when I subscribed but its taking some time to arrive so I bought one from amazon will the amazon sim card work fine?

yes, same kind of sim card, it will still work.

Now, all you need to do is to login My Account using Public Mobile app, enter the sim card number and complete the activation.

Just in case you got into problem with logging in PM app, you can message support for help
