yes, most numbers can be ported into Public Mobile. So, no worries on that

when you subscribe, you need a brand new new used Public Mobile sim card.  If you don't have one, cheapest to buy from Amaozn.ca for $5 o buy in person from Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klink store for $10 (or you can also use eSIM if your phone supports)

after you have the sim card, download PM app on the phone and start the subscription process there

first, tell us what you are doing. We are confused, we just say your sim card is not accepted in registration

are you existing PM customer? your lost your phone and need to get a new sim card?

or you are getting new account and trying to transfer your number into PM?

has it been used by somebody else ? Sims can only be used 1 time. If yours has been used before, you'll need to get a new one.
