Hello,
I just went to Walmart to get two sim cards for PM activation. Each time I insert the sim card on a phone, I get "No Sim Card" error. I have an s7 edge. Can I refund a sim card? Contacted mod team and nothing so far. I activated a second line and the sim card worked. My brother instantly got his service up and running and I'm stuck with no sim card detected. I tried his public mobile sim card and it worked fine on my phone... 😞

Glad they exchanged it.

@ayman70 I agree with them that a reimbursement is out of the question. But an exchange on a faulty product should be a no brainer. Glad to hear it worked out in the end.

Then the managers started playing ping pong to check who's going to approve a reimbursement on a sim. Got it exchanged right after asking them wether this was all legal or not. I don't accept getting ripped off.
Info just in case you are unfamiliar. You will not need to go through the activation process with the new SIM. Just login to your self serve account and click Change SIM under My Profile. (Assumes you did successfully your account with the last SIM.)

@ayman70 Login to the self serve account you created when activating the "defective" SIM. Is Status "Active"? Is the plan correct? Did you remember 1 email address per account/SIM?

Thats unfortunate. If PM is going to allow Walmart to act as a supplier for SIM cards they really should work out a method for point of purchase exchanges on ones that are defective. Not cool.

@srlawren wrote:@ayman70 did you get your S7's from a provider (other than Telus or Koodo) prior to Dec 2017? If so, they're probably locked to that provider and you need to contact them for an unlock code.
It's unlocked. I just entered the unlock code when I tried my brother's sim card. I can try to change sim card and use my sister's sim card only if @CS_Agent can send me a sim card to replace the defective one. My actual sim is just broken, not detected at all.

Called walmart and they told me these are not refundable and not to bother trying. Got ripped off 10$. I hope PM can do something about it. I have a third sim that I bought for my sister but I'm not willing to use it unless PM sends me a new one. Pretty pissed right now...
Can @CS_Agent do anything about it?

Chances are low as OP did not activate there, but he/she can try if the rep is convinced that it is a bad sim. If not, mod should be able to provide a sim without any cost.
