@Allen-Martin : Just in case you mean something else... you can remove your existing SIM out of your phone and put it in a different phone. You don't need to get a new SIM and get it changed in the system.
Or you might mean to change service providers. Then you get a PM SIM and activate it.
The only times you need to have it changed in the system is if you've lost the SIM, lost the phone with the SIM in it, broken the SIM. If you've lost the phone then you would want to use the Lost/stolen function to suspend your service.

You will need to contact moderator for SIM card swap. Previously, you were able to change SIM card by yourself in self service account, but that was stopped to prevent SIM card swap fraud.
