The person at the store said it would take up to 2 hours for texts to be able to work but it’s not. He said to post to the community and a person would be able to help?

If you just ported your number from another carrier it can take a few hours. Sometimes there are delays and it can be longer particularly if you port a landline .

Making calls is working but not texts, and no I didn’t get a port successful text

I can make calls I’m not sure about receiving, and yes I’m using my old phone number

@Cwalters7041 Please provide more info like if other services are working or not. Did you port in your number? If yes, did you receive port successful text?
