Hi,
I've noticed that cell signal disappears occasionally for about 2-5 minutes. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Thanks

I’ve not really noticed that happening; I suppose when I’m in my basement apartment in the evening it slips down from full bars on 3G to two bars on 3G, otherwise I’ve not had any issues with signal connectivity or it disappearing altogether.
I did find today, however, while out and about, I had one bar of service when usually I’ve got full. That was unusual. Been fine ever since.
Hopefully it’s just the tower influx during a certain time; and hopefully it’s not affected your device or usability.

Your phone's signal comes from Bell's towers in the GTA. Compare with a friend/relative on Bell/Telus/Virgin/Koodo to see if the experience is similar at the same location with the same phone.
To answer your question, you need to provide more details to get to the bottom of the issue.
- Does this happen everywhere you go, or only in 1 location?
- Where this happens to you, does it also happen to other Bell/Telus subscribers?
- Have you tried your SIM in another phone?
- Have you tried another SIM in your phone?
- When you say signal disappears, what do you mean exactly? You switch to 3G? Data stops working? What abour voice? Emergency service only? Be specific.

Signal continues to disappear for minutes before returning.
Need some more info. 🙂
How long have you been on PM? Previous to your first post on this, is this a new thing or has it always happened?
Although it could be PM/Telus' problem it could be helpful to try your sim card into a different phone - do you have a friend who has an unlocked phone that you could try this with? If no unlocked phone available you could also try with another PM member if you are able.

No issues with my signal. The signal does fluctuate from time to time but the call quality is still good. More info would be needed to figure out your issue.

I do see from time to time signal drifting up and down while staying at a fixed location. This could be due to being shifted from tower to tower for load balancing. Generally, I don't have what I would call a reception concern let alone issue.

I think a little more information is needed to help us figure things out.
I personally haven't experienced this. Occasionally it will go onto 3G and it will take a minute or 2 to get back onto LTE when the signal improves.

Whereabouts are you located?
Is this a new/recent problem?
I'm out west and my office is in a basement so my signal is not the best - I have forwarding (when unreachable) set to my Fongo number so I don't miss any calls.
