Sign in trouble

Earlier today I created an account with a different email than what I am using now. It was successfull and I bought a new subscription. Step 1 and 2 went fine and the payment was done. When I came to step 3.Finish set up I discovered I could not download the app when I do not have a Canadian apple id. I contacted help chat which guided me forward. While chatting I got locked out due to inactivity and was asked to sign in again. When attmpting so I get to a page asking to continue with the subscription registration. I press ok and are asked to sign in again. When attempting so I get a message that my email is invalid. I have now tried edge, chrome, both on computer and phone and every time the same happens. I can sign in once, but not twice. The chat representative kindly asked me to use another email to enter this community and ask for help from you.

Perhaps you should consider signing up for a Canadian Apple ID?

@Ragnhild  Can you use a friends phone to download the app and finish the activation ? Then you can delete app and manage you account in the website . But if you need supports help here’s a direct link to them
