I have no service just says “sos” same for a friend. Anyone know what’s going on? Reset phone, pull SIM card out etc

Yeah no we got them brand new and all that jazz. They said fraud so I think someone with the same name got credit checked and all the info didn’t match. So more of a store issue then ours but we are without a phone cause they took our 14s as trade in and set them off already 😖

@xMantee

That is unfortunate.  By chance, did you purchase your phones second hand on the secondary market like KIjiji, Facebook marketplace?  Buyer beware on those purchases. Several reports of customers getting scammed when the original owners will report the phone stolen after being sold to new owners.

If Telus phone, Telus should be able to let you know what is happening.

I actually just figured it out. We just got 2 phones through Telus one with service one without as I use Public which I know is a Telus company. But for some reason our phones got blacklisted stole/fraudulent. Not sure why guess now I have a bigger problem to figure out lol

@xMantee which city ir province??

you tried rebooting the phone and confined your account status is active??

if you have another phone, test your sim card there, that could force a sim re-provision and could resolve the problem when you put the sim card back to your own phone later
