I just recently got a new Public Mobile Sim Card and I have activated it as well but it’s still showing that I have no service. I have tried rebooting my phone, the lost and found trick, waiting for 10 hours to see if it would work but nothing is working. I had to transfer my old number to public mobile but now I can’t even use my phone. What can I do?

There used to be free sites where you could check of an iPhone was locked. Haven't used them in years.
One was WWW DOT iphoneimei DOT info
You enter your IMEI number. No idea if it still works....
If it is locked you can call fido to see if they will unlock for you
I’m going to call Fido right now and see what they say.
The phone is unlocked. I don’t know if the issue is with the Sim Card...

Is your iPhone 6s plus unlocked?
I believe so. My previous provider was Fido.
Why would you Believe it? Did you ask them to unlock it? iPhone 6s+ came out way before selling unlocked phone policy.

Also is the iPhone software updated.
You could also try cycling airplane mode / cell data, it has worked in a few situations like this
Software is up to date. I will have to try the swapping SIM cards into a different phone. Airplane mode, I’m trying that right now but it still says no service.

I honestly don’t remember if I got the text since it was done last night. I have sent the moderators a private message.
