I have received at least a dozen scam calls a day for the last week from Barrie and Sault St Marie numbers. The first 7-8 digits are always the same but the last 2-3 change, so blocking the numbers hasn’t helped. It’s getting very annoying.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will try this. I’ve been with public for years and have had the odd spam call, but not like this.

Public Mobile is a no-frills carrier and does not offer a "Call Control" feature like its parent company, TELUS, or its sister brand, Koodo. This means you must rely on your phone's built-in settings and external services to manage spam.
iPhone - Go to Settings, Phone and toggle on Silence Unknown Callers. This sends any number not in your contacts or recent outgoing calls directly to voicemail.
Android (Pixel/Google Phone App), Open the Phone app, tap the three dots (Settings), and select Caller ID & spam. Toggle on Filter spam calls to prevent suspected spam from ringing.
Samsung: Open the Phone app, tap the three dots, and select Settings, Caller ID and spam protection to enable the "Hiya"-powered filter.
You can change your phone number directly in your Public Mobile account. This is often a last resort if spam calls become unmanageable, but it’s important to know the limitations and steps first.

Yes, we all receive them too. Some more than some. Not much you can do about them. Just ignore them.
