i am using my phone quit long last Fridays morning before noon my phone is showing SOS Only, my sim is working on another phone other sim is also not working on mine, restarted, network reset, sim swap turned off for 1hr nothing did work. also its not BLACKLISTED

i tried every possible solution on earth, including Appl's online support who check my phone remotely also run system check tools which bring nothing wrong finally they ask me to go instore help which i went and they check my phone n there system find nothing wrong but they cannot make it work with my sim (although my sim is working on other phone Samsung and Apple BOTH) finally they put a Rogers sim on my phone which did work somehow, they told me they are not able to help me (my phone is out of warranty) but ask me to try eSim.
i am waiting for further update from Apple to address this kind of issue and resolve it as i am not the only user having this trouble.

Have you tried going to an Apple store and getting the operating system reloaded? If the iOS is corrupted the only way to get the phone working again is to reload iOS17. Is the phone under warranty?

i was talking to PM agents (in few hrs there were 3) and have to explain all separately still no solution provide my both imei still no solution.

HI @Aadee
if PM agent also confirmed that the phone is not blacklisted, and other sim not working on this phone, then it is a device problem, and yes, maybe iOS problem

thats what i am thinking as well, there is people sharing there same issue after iOS 17 on Apple Community
https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255187142?page=1
may be Apple will come up to resolve this issue created by new iOS

it's possible the device overheated and possibly corrupted some files. i doubt the agent will be able to figure this one out. they are not device specialists. if, nothing is working, your last option would be to factory reset the device.

these all are related while using 2 sims

hi, i already all of these hacks 😞 but nothing does work for me.

@Aadee Try swiping down from the upper-right corner of your display and tap on the green Cellular Data icon to shut it off, then tap it again to turn it back on. If that isn't enough to jog your iPhone back into remembering that it should have a proper connection then soft reset your iPhone.
Simultaneously hold down the side button and the lower volume button for about 3 seconds and it will bring up a new screen with two sliders and a cancel icon. Slide the top power icon to the right and your phone will power down. After it's done shutting off just wait a few seconds and then hold the side button to power it back up again.
Another issue, possible faulty SIM card slot. Maybe an apple store can help.

Hi @Aadee other sim cannot work on yours is an strong indication your phone is blacklisted. Please check all the couple IMEIs you phone has. Also, blacklist we have access might not update quick enough, so, submit ticket with agents, send them the couple IMEIs your phone has and ask them to confirm

I hear you @Aadee
Definitely a device issue based on what you're describing. (given the Public Mobile SIM card works in another device)
Not a Public Mobile issue.
11-06-2023 04:51 PM
Have you tried what I have suggested?
11-06-2023 04:50 PM

Your device HAS NOT been reported lost or stolen and is not currently on the national blacklist.

Excellent troubleshooting. Other than the above idea, seems to be the device.

So did the device EVER work on this service?
Sure sounds like the device IS blacklisted @Aadee

Hi there @Aadee
Go to Settings > Cellular, and then you will have to find your current phone number and then click on that and turn that line on. After you turn that on, then you will be able to use it.
Have a nice day.
