phone notification states "NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK"
Why am I getting this notification on my phone with Public Mobile?

Along with other's suggestions, confirm these as well:
*Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.
*Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

@Melvs do you have another phone you can try to put the PM SIM in it and see if you get the same error?

@Melvs Maybe try rebooting phone or toggling airplane mode on/off. Also try removing the SIM (power of first) and after a couple of minutes reinsert and restart your phone. You can also try network reset too if the above doesn't help.

This means that there is no network connection. This can either be because of network outage, phone setting or hardware issue (such as wrong network manually chosen), or if it's a new phone, this could indicate a compatibility issue.
