Hi
Using IPhone 6+. Just created a new 4G account. But when I switch from 3g to LTE the Iphone still shows 3g.
As a test I swapped the SIM out with an existing Public Mobile account on a older IPhone SE and then I get LTE on
the IPhone 6+.
Any idea on how to fix this.

The iPhone SE is a newer phone than the iPhone 6 so more features are likely to work.

@Dunkman Brought up a good point about VoLTE on the iPhone 6+.
I have an old iPhone 6 and it is not VoLTE compatible so you will have issues making a call and receiving calls. My spouse had an old Samsung S8+ that was also not VoLTE compatible and all in coming calls were choppy and incoming calls goes straight to voice.
No problem with SMS texting though. Therefore, you can only use it for googling and texting.
You might want to upgrade your phone once all carriers decommission 3G.

As a test I switched the SIM out with an existing PM account and that SIM show LTE on the IPhone 6+.
So the issue is not the Phone.

iPhone 6 is an older phone. Maybe try a network reset of your phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi paswords).
Maybe check the VoLTE compatible checker:

iPhone 6+ is unlikely to VoLTE compatible with PM network. Might have talk issues depending on your area.
