Hi,
I'm trying to put my Public Mobil into a HTC M8 I bought with Fido.
I chat with their agent to unlock it and they did but I still have the SIM network lock screen asking for a 8 pin pass.
The Fido agent (ans their FAQ) says that I need to contact my carrier (Public Mobile) to get pass that SIM network locked screen.
I don't know I to get support in Public Mobile, I guess I have to ask here?

I did contact Fido multiple times, had different agent trying to unlock it. I know they should unlock it since I bougth it, but might avoid it because I left them.
For anyone reaching my post, I looked for a trusted sim unlocker (they usually are scam), the one I found that is said to be trusted (on google reviews) by now 2023 (recheck if they haven't turned sour) is doctorSIM. I paid 30 cad and it worked.

A phone asking for a SIM Network Unlock PIN means that the phone is locked to the another carrier than the carrier of the SIM card that is inserted. Public Mobile cannot assist with this. You'll need to contact Rogers/Fido again to get the unlock code to get the device unlocked so that it can be used at other carriers (including Public Mobile), so don't take no for an answer.
