SIM card

The new SIM card was mailed to me days before the postal strike.  It’s been over a week now and I don’t know if you will issue a new one by courier or if I’ll have to wait until Canada Post goes back to work.  I don’t live close to any place that I could physically pick one up myself.   I don’t know what to do.

My 2 cents:

e-sims are not as reliable as physical sims, so use amazon to buy a 4.99 physical sim which you can have delivered to you in 1-2 days usually.
Then, once the strike ends and you receive your other sim, give it to a coworker / friend or family member for Xmas so they can switch to PM, and start building your referral empire. Best of luck

If your phone is E sim compatible that is the simplest solution. I just setup my second line today using an E sim and it was very easy. Otherwise you can buy a generic sim online or at a mobile shop. Unfortunately the strike is effecting a lot of people especially leading up to the holiday season.

hi @DonnaMR

when you placed the order?  Sim card delivery can be 3 days to 3 weeks here

But best to ask PM support agent for status, you can  submit by direct message:

Better to ask if you can pickup another one from a nearby Telus or Koodo store instead of wait longer to have them resend a new one

@DonnaMR  To add to what @hairbag1  mentioned about the postal strike , even at best of times can take 3 weeks to arrive from public mobile . Quickest way would be to bet one from Telus /koodo store to get up and running or if your phone is eSIM compatible you can activate right away and save yourself a trip to store or the wait for delivery

@DonnaMR

probly best to order from Amazon as postal strike looks to be going on longer.
