Hello @catherine73

If you have signed up with Public Mobile and you are porting your phone number from the other carrier, you need to leave the other carriers SIM card in the phone so you can get the porting authorization text. It usually comes within 90 minutes of you signing up and requesting the port over. IF you have already received the port request from your other provider and you've said YES... look at the top of the phone. Does it still have your old carriers name? Does it say... SOS... for example? If so, then the porting process is complete. Now you can shut off your phone, remove the old SIM card (but don't throw it out yet) and then insert the new Public Mobile card you have. Then reboot your phone. You SHOULD be up and running. If not, come back here and let us know what steps you've taken so we can help you troubleshoot it.

@catherine73  Did you leave old providers SIM card in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to port to public mobile ? And this needs to be done with in 90 minutes window . If this time has passed you need to . Re trigger the port request . I’ll private  message you the porting team number just in case . Also you old provider account needs to be active just a note

adding

if you have replied yes in the 90 minutes window . Try the PM SIM card in the phone and reboot it you should be good to go @catherine73
