I have ordered a new SIM card off of my account. Do I keep my existing phone number?

thank you. that's very helpful.

however, i get message "not registered in network" when i try to make a call.

hope you can help with this too.

@300zx  In summary yes you can or not it's up to you.  If you're with another provider right now you can port the number to PM which transfers the number.  If you want a new number you can choose a new one when you activate the SIM.  Totally up to you.

What do you mean "off of my account"? Yes, just log in to your current account and use the change sim function. Highly suggested to do that on a non-mobile browser.

your current sim card is borken or lost?

you need to use the new sim card for your existing account?

 

Once you receive it, go to My Account from ONLY a desktop or laptop computer to request Change Sim card (please note that due to some glitches, accessing change sim care from mobile phone or tablet won't work)

 

After you logged in, unsuspend first if you have suspended your service earlier.

Then click Quick Links on the top right and select Change Sim card and follow the steps:
