SIM card puk code

Got AT&T locked phone. AT&T gave unlock code, but phone needs  carrier SIM card puk code which is not on the card package anymore as shown on some posts.

How exactly would that help in this situation? The OP's phone is locked to AT&T. PM won't provide an unlock and/or PUK code for another service provider.

@mh1983The OP stated that he did in fact receive the unlock code from AT&T and it asking for a carrier sim unlock code so if it needs a sim PUK then the moderators will be able to provide it.

@coconut  Do you have another sim from any provider that you can try inserting into that phone?

What brand and model of phone do you have ?  If it is a Samsung you can obtain a PUK from them or else you would need to get the PUK from AT&T.

To contact Public Mobile click here. The link  sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. I may wrong, but if you ever had service with AT&T, they should have been able to provide you with that code. If you simply bought a locked phone online without ever activating it with AT&T, you might have some luck contacting the manufacturer directly.

For example, I know that Samsung will provide PUK over customer service.
