SIM Card arrived empty? Stolen sim card?

Sallyman

Hi my order # is 198504. My envelope had a small slit on top but I hadohad it from the side. The envelope is empty. I didn't get as card I've been waiting a week to get.

I dont know-how to contact big boss man but I think this is BS. Either the envelope was empty or someone along the way saw the public mobile branded envelope and decided to steal the Sim card.

Can the people send me a new one possibly in an unmarked envelope and disable the stolen one?

I can't even post a picture because my phone's camera is HD and pictures are all above 3 mb

That's from last year, so I hope that Public Mobile sent a replacement.

@ryanrudolf they are running the 40% off this week. And I don't know about the voucher stock. I hope they do. Stay safe.

Sorry to hear that this happened to you @Sallyman .another option is to buy your SIM card from Canadian cell supplies https://canadiancellsupplies.com/collections/latest-products/products/public-sim-card

@Sallyman   I had that problem with image size too on an image sharing site, until I discovered my phone offered to adjust the size just before texting or emailing it. So I sent it to myself then added to the site.

That's what I'm thinking. But the envelope is branded and the slit looks like it's been deliberately cut. It doesn't look random.

Il go to Canada Post but I'm sure they are not going to help at all. I doubt they will follow through and accuse their own workers

Canada Post may take it seriously according to this article.

@Sallyman yeah sounds like someone used a knife or letter opener. It being branded probably made it a target, but still what is wrong with people...lol

@Sallyman I would contact your postal service for sure. They should have noticed an empty envelope. So strange someone would steal a 10.00 SIM.

Best to contact the Mods for them to send you out another one.

@Sallyman, whilst waiting for a moderator, you can pick up another sim at Walmart or London Drugs. If PM sends another to replace the lost one, you can gift it to a family member or friend.

PM doesn't send out activated sim cards...has to be activated by customer.

Good luck and welcome to PM.

From what I know, Pubilc Mobile doesn't keep track of the sim card numbers that are sent out. For something such as this, you'll need to contact Public Moible.

Please send a private mesage to the Public Mobile moderators by clicking on the following link: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

@Sallyman

Submit a ticket to a moderator (PM representative) regarding your SIM card.

Please use the chatbot SIMon to help you solve your issue. If SIMon cannot solve your issue then you have the option to contact a moderator.

Step 1: Choose the ? button at the right bottom corner of this page or choose “Get Help” at the top of the page and then choose the “Chat with SIMon” button.

Step 2: Tell SIMon what the issue is and see if he can find a solution for you.

Step 3: If Simon cannot find a solution then type in “moderator” to connect to a Public Mobile customer service representative.

Step 4: Simon will present you with two choices. Choose “Account-specific question”.

Step 5: Then choose “No, I want a human”.

Step 6: Create your ticket.

Check the sent folder to make sure your ticket was sent (envelope icon, top right) and the inbox for a reply from the moderators.
