I am public mobile user and I had to travel to Saudi Arabia about a week ago. Ever since I got here, I tried connecting to the local networks here but everytime I try to connect the phone gives me a prompt saying "Your sim card does not allow a connection to this network". I thought it was an addons issue and so I registered with the 300 international minutes addon but still I can't connect to any network in here! I need some help on how can I connect and start roaming.
@Azouz20a - you can ignore that copy/paste 3 liner, 2 posts up, about contacting customer support. It would be wasting Public Mobile customer support staff's time, and yours as well, as others have already answered your question.
You can use a free voip app for calls as well if you have access to wifi, you can find many different options online (whatsapp and textnow seem to be quite popular)
There is no roaming outside of the US for public mobile customers. You will have to purchase a local SIM card. You can contact customer support and explain your honest mistake on the purchase of the 300 international minutes add on and ask for a credit to be applied to your account.
