Do you lose accumulated points if you upgrade your plan?

@FlimFlam134  no you keep your old rewards no worries just be sure to change plan for next renewal and not immediately or you will lose money on your current cycle

ok thanks. I'm currently paying $40 for my 4G plan and I noticed its available for $39 so I'll be switching to that.

I'm currently on the old points system. If I change my subscription will I be forced into the new one?

@GerryMac  No you get to keep your points until you use them up or leave PM so best to use 15 points for $15 off bill as soon as you get them . Because if you do ever leave for a better deal you will forfeit the points

you won't lose Rewards as long as your account is valid. Just don't voluntarily opt outta Rewards in favour of Points.

edited...my bad...I'm so used seeing the question asked about Rewards. You won't lose Points if upgrading.
