I just switched from Lucky mobile to public mobile I tried to transfer my number but now it's not working. I can't get it to work and I needed to work right now because of my work phone number and anyone else to help me and find a way it says it's not in service

@Babyjk1283

can you confirm if you can receive incoming calls on your PM sim card?

For the text issue, are you using Android or iPhone?

if you are using Android and if you are using Google Message for text, backup all the important messages, then uninstall the Google Message (on some phones like Pixel, you will have to click Uninstall Updates instead of full uninstall), reboot phone and reinstall.

If you are using Android but not using Google Message, download Google Message from app store and set it as the default messaging app and text

if you are using iPhone, make sure you enable Send as SMS.  You might also want to re-register iMessage.  Go to Settings to manually remove the phone number and reboot phone.  Then go back to the settings to enter the phone number to force iMessage re-registration

Hello @Babyjk1283

Allow me to ask a few questions to help trouble shoot things.

Does your lucky mobile sim card still work if you place it in your phone?

If yes, then the port hasn't gone through. If no, then the port worked, there just needs to be a few adjustments.

If you place the pm sim card in the phone, go into your network settings and reset them. Then reboot. This will connect you (force connection) to the public mobile network. Your phone should start working.
