Repeatedly prompted to sign in to Public Mobile network on my Android; APN settings "correct"

Starting around noon today, my OnePlus 3 has been having issues connecting to data. I keep getting prompted to 'sign in' to the Public Mobile network (never happened before) but when I click the prompt it takes me to a blank page with only two options in the settings drop-down menu: "Use network as is" or "Don't use network". "Use as is" does nothing.

I went to my APN settings to see if anything was off, confirmed they are correct according to the instructions on this site. However, when I tried to leave that screen, my phone prevented me from leaving, claiming the APN proxy settings were incorrect (the mmsc part at the end was underlined in red).

I tried restarting my phone - no change.

So I tried resetting the APNs to default, and now I can't access the Public Mobile 4G network, nor can I edit the sb.mb.com Public Mobile APN settings (the screen is greyed out), and the phone defaults to "Telus SP" APN, which flat out doesn't work at all - no text, no call, no data whatsoever.

Please help.

Thanks, that solved one issue. Unfortunately, hitting "Reset to default" triggered some OnePlus OS glitch that has locked me out of editing or adding APNs. From browsing other forums, it seems I can no longer connect to PM's LTE network without rooting my phone and editing the code that has turned my APN settings screen into read-only.

Ah, technology.

Or click on Edit #2 in this external thread. This guy wrote a program to get at the APN settings. You would need to be comfortable with running a non-Google-Play-Store app and setting your phone to allow it.

@irexTry a Roam Mobility or Freedom SIM it might let you edit the APN.. weird I know.

Did you try to turn off your phone, remove your SIM card, reinsert the SIM card and then reboot and see if that helped any?
