where is it on your phone

@fop- Does your phone have a repeat alert setting? Maybe it's my international phone but go to
settings, notifications, advanced settings, wireless emergency alerts, alert reminder. My default appears to be 2 minutes. I wonder if you set it to never and whether it would stop. I didn't get repeats after acknowledging the alert though. And these options may not be in your phone.

Take the SIM Card out wait for it to lose service + say no SIM and put it back in again. This will hopefully make your phone realize you already got it.

Hi hTideGnow

Hi hTideGnow

I switched to 3G on your advice and I'll post again the results

But it sounds like a good solution - hopefully it works and I can get some sleep.

Btw, I did acknowledge the alert multiple times as it came multiple times, and rebooted the phone several times

HI@tonian

did you actually click on the alert to "acknowledge" it?

And reboot the phone once

if the alert still comes, change the network mode to 3G Only or WCDMA only for a day.  With 3G , it won't get the alert at all. Change it back to LTE or 4G tomorrow
