Repeat Phone Number

When calling my number, after numerous rings; the cell phone number to which they are calling is mentioned. How can I remove this, even though they are calling the same number which is being mentioned. I want it removed from being repeated.

there is really no way to disable Voicemail.  Even PM customer support cannot help to disable that.

If you want to make the change, please setup a VM PIN first, then following instructions above.  If you do not setup a VM PIN and hence unable to setup the Extended absence, then the VM setup will stay as what it is at the moment

I don't have a pin; and I don't want a pin.

some people have trouble with using conditional forwarding, but you can setup Extended Absence, which basically the same as disabling voicemail

To setup and enable Extended absence, dial into your voicemail and log in with your PIN.
In the main menu, press 3 (manage greetings),
then 4 (manage extended absence greeting),
then 2 (record a new extended absence greeting) and record a message that indicates to your caller you are not accepting messages.
Then press 4 to turn on extended absence
Finally, press 5 to disallow anyone to leave you a message. Problem solved!

To return to receiving inbound messages, should you wish to at a later date:

dial into your voicemail and log in with your PIN.
In the main menu, press 3 (manage greetings),
then 4 (manage extended absence greeting),
then 4 to turn off your extended absence greeting
After doing this, your previous personal greeting goes back into effect automatically, and callers can leave you messages again.

The call forward settings could not be changed when entering in the following; *004*8080000000#  and dialing ?

@DorisRotter

To "disable" voicemail, dial: *004*8080000000# on your phone
Then all calls will ring forever or get a fast busy tone instead of forwarded to the voicemail.

To reset it back to defaults, dial ##004#

I don't want to enable voice mail; or create a voice mail password, I simply want to remove this feature which repeats the phone number when calling the number.

hi @DorisRotter

it's a voicemail setup issue, you have not setup a personal voicemail greeting

you can call your voicemail from your phone , then press 3 for Greetings options, then 1 for Personal greetings and follow the prompt to record your name and your new personalized greetings

This sounds like your voicemail @DorisRotter . Press and hold the 1 button and follow the prompts on setting your voicemail.
