I had an account with public mobile but canceled a month ago and I was wondering how I get a refund on my money that is in your account syst

@Davemac5 how did you "cancel" the account?

Generally, there are only two ways to "cancel" the account

1.  Port the number out to another provider and your account will be closed immediately
2.  Disable Pre-Authorized payments, PM will then unable to charge you to renew, your account will ben be suspended and then 90 more days later, your account will be closed

Did you do any of these?  if not, if you simply not using the service or just remove the sim card, it is not considered as account cancelled.  You will need to login to My Account and do step 2 above to avoid further charging from PM
