I will not change my Apple TV account from Australia to Canada, therefore I would like a refund for the unused SIm. Thank you.

This is an eSIM, not a SIM. We cannot activate it and we are leaving Canada soon and have not utilised the eSIM.

Sorry, but SIM card sales are final. You're free to keep the SIM card to use in the future or to give it to a friend, etc.

If you purchased it from a third party then you need to contact them for a refund.
SIM card's aren't refundable, especially when it's from a third party. In any event, an issue with the Apple TV service wouldn't prevent the use of Public Mobile's services.

You could create a new Apple ID with a different email address. That apple ID can be used for Canada.
Otherwise, if you need a refund, you will need to contact cuosmter service agent:
Send a ticket via the chatbot to customer service agent (CSA) via link:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
If that does not work,
Send a private message to CSA through the following link :
https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
Expect 0.5-1 day wait for response.
