Referrals

Hi,

I have a question for the community:

Is it normal for an CS agent to ask for my friend's (who referred me) full name and phone number when asking for my $25 bonus referral credit?

I already supplied the referral code and the last 4 digits of their phone # in my initial message.

Thanks!

The agent said the referral code is in my account. She said it takes 4 to 8 weeks to receive the credit. It's been 47 days. My friend told me to contact customer support as it's been too long. She got her credit yesterday after reaching out to them.

From my past experience, the CSA did ask for similar information to apply the referral code credit for new customer.  Asked for existing customer phone number and name.  Might also asked for email address of existing customer if I remembered correctly.

hi @TheSterlinger

actually CS agent always ask if you open ticket and ask them status of friend referral or ask them to add it back after activation, it is not just something they just started

As of a few months ago they started asking for the info yes.

hi @barnacle_baby

the referral credit usually shows up within 72 hours, has it been 3 days yet?

Hi,

The referral code was added during my activation but I didn't get any credits ($10 or $15).
