You only have to provide your referral code to your friend.

During activation process that plan will appear on a list of available plans. It does NOT appear when you browse current PM plans, though; only when changing existing or opening new account.

Yes it will!   That's the only way they'll see it during their activation.  Just make sure that they choose the right $40 plan, though 😉

Tell your friend that they'll see that promotion plan, during their activation process and while they are choosing their plan.    That's the only way, new people activating will see that offer, $40 plan with 15 GB at 4 G.

@shelby72   just provide your friend with your referral code.  You can find your own referral code from your My Acocunt

For your friend, get a sim card from Telus/Koodo store.  Then go to https://activate.publicmobile.ca and activate there, ask your friend to remember to put in your code at Step 4 of the activation process
