Refer a friend code

I have just transferred my phone service from another carrier to public mobile. A friend has referred me but because were were both new to public mobile we were having problems taking advantage of all the benefits public mobile has to offer. My friend has provided me with a friend referral code which is xxxxxxxxx. Can you update my info to reflect this?

Hi @Rajendra1014 

 

If you forgot to include a referral code during your activation, the moderators will add it for you after the fact if you contact them within a reasonable amount of time and ask politely.

 

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system for a faster response time. Click here and type moderator assistance, then select account-related issue, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket,  or, 
  2. Send a private message to the moderator by clicking here  You’ll need to be logged into your Community account for the link to work.

 

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

If you have already activated your PM SIM card without using the referral code.

You will have to contact the moderator on the SIMon chat bubble and they may give you some grace.

Remember to explain your problem and be nice when you are in contact with them.

@Rajendra1014 , we are all just PM customers like you.  However, we can try to help.

 

Did you enter the referral code during activation?  If so, your friends should see a new friend referral on his self-serve account on the same day.  

 

For you , wait another 2 to 4 days, you should see $10 credit on your account

 

If you have not put in the referral code, you might want to see if Mod can help, you can open a ticket with them this ways: 

 


1. For faster response (2 to 48 hours), Click on the bubble in the lower right corner and request moderator assistance, or you can also use this direct link instead https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html, then type "Submit a ticket", select Account-specific issue, then select I need a human now. Follow the prompts to submit a ticket.

@Rajendra1014 You need to contact moderators and tell that to them. Click on bubble on bottom right and follow directions to contact a human. They will update the info for you. Please hide the code from your message here as it is not allowed to share codes publicly.
