I just hooked up with public mobile and I'm having issues receiving phone calls. How do I fix it.

I went esim and restarted my phone multiple times and still nothing. I can make calls but my mother in law says number doesn't work but she can text me just fine

you just "hooked up" with PM, so new activation? did you request porting the number? did you get a text from old provider and did you reply Yes?
it could be stuck port, there is a porting assistance team you can call and ask for update. I can't post the number here, but I will message the number to your community inbox. Please check and call them

@Hockeymom77 After you activated and inserted your Public Mobile sim card did you restart the phone? Is it both incoming and outgoing calls? Do data and texting work? Are you transferring a number from another provider, in which case did you answer Yes to their authorization text with the old provider sim still in the phone?
