I'm having this issue also. Except my previous carrier Fonus said they don't send out txt to confirm that I want to port. Jow do I resolve this issue please.

Fonus is not a true cellular provider,  might be considered as VoIP provider, if so, it would take as many as 3 to 7 business days for the port to complete

But check with Porting team to confirm.  There is a number to call to talk to live support,  they can re-trigger the process for you.  I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) .  Check the envelope icon on top right.  Call them and get it fixed
