Hello,
I tried to port my number from Telus to Public i received a text from telus to confirm which i did.
my public number is xxxxxxxxxxxxx and telus xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

if you did a SMS message from your old carrier asking to confirm if you would like to port your number. Your reply should be: YES.
will be working, and do Rebooting your phone,
*what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

@fab123 did you reply the text within 90 minutes? If so, the port should completed within 30 mins to 2 hours. Have you waited the 2 hours before posting?
did you try to put your Telus SIM in a phone and call your Telus number again to see if it rings. If so, then the porting did not completed.
Not sure if it is completed now, but there is a number you can call to confirm the porting status, I will message you just in case you need to call. Please check your Community inbox

Are you having issues with services?
When you log into your Self Serve account, does your account say ACTIVE?
Try one or more of the below:
*turn off your phone, leave off for a few minutes, then reboot
*removing your SIM, then reinserting it
*go into airplane mode, then going back to regular mode
*reset network settings
*if you try your SIM into another phone do services work?
IF this is a STUCK port, there is a Porting Phone Number you can call to check on the port....CHECK your Private Inbox Messages, I will send you that number to call.

@fab123 : Ok. So what happened? Is your Telus account now closed? Does the number now work on your PM SIM?
