Hi, I tried to transfer my phone number from virgin mobile to public mobile, now both the virgin mobile and public mobile number are all active, while I can use public mobile for data and text, but when I tried to call the number, the virgin sim will receive the call... What should I do to proceed it?  Thanks

Contact the Public Mobile moderators to re-try your port. Leave the Virgin SIM in your phone to receive the verification text, and reply within 90 minutes. There are two ways to reach the moderators:

I asked virgin mobile today and they asked me to contact public mibile and then public mobile will send them a request for porting the numer, after virgin mobile receive the request, virgin mobile will send me the confirmation text.

@zhangcuifeng201   If you have replied YES to the SMS on your Virgin mobile, the port should complete really soon, probably within 2 hours.  Just reboot your phone with the PM sim every 15 mins, try calling your number and see if the PM phone rings.  If so, the port is completed.

It's supposed to be this way until everything is done. This means that porting isn't complete or has failed.  Did you remember to leave your Virgin Mobile SIM card in your phone? You'll need to reply to a text mesage sent by Virgin to approve the phone number transfer.  If it's been more than a few hours, open a ticket by going to:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
