Recently when I entered the US with the CAN US MEX plan I was not able to connect to the network even with the Data Roaming option on on my phone. I have a Samsung S24 ultra. I had to purchase a 15 day US roaming addon to use my data. Please advice if there is anything else I need to do.

I had the same feeling, but I was able to connect to the network only after buying the add-on.

Manually connect to AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon network and see if that helps.
Since you have the Canada/USA/Mexico plan. You can contact a CS_Agent and ask for a credit into your account for the purchase of the Roaming Add-on that you didn’t need to purchase.

The purchase of a 15 day US roaming add-on was not required. There could have been some strange system issue that go reset after purchasing the add-on, but the US roaming add-on doesn't actually provide any extra service or features when a customer already has a Canada-US-Mexico plan. Were you out of data on your main plan? That's the only time I could possibly see the roaming add-on being of any use.
