On Friday Jan 26-24, I was adding a 2 week plan for talk and text to the US, I accidently hit text only $16.98 and then talk and text $33.90. I would like a credit for the text only portion $16.98 as they were for the same time frame and it was done in error.

Given you purchased two add-ons, and you're looking to keep the more expensive one, I'm fairly confident the customer support agents will credit you the value of the cheaper one onto your available funds in your account.
EDIT: I just noticed you did this 3 weeks ago. It may be too late at this juncture… Let us know if the customer support agents were kind enough to credit the cheaper one please. In future, it’s advisable to make these requests within a few days.
