It did not work for me
02-21-2025 03:45 PM
I can not log on to eversafe; I can make the call but not able to receive the call.

The request is only 12 hrs, I know that the number is not move yet since I still can call the landline. My question is I was not able to log on eversafe Id. Not sure that I have to move over in order to log on to eversafe ID. Any idea?

Hello @Jquan
Landlines can take up to 7 business days to port over. Granted, the only way to find out if the port worked is if your landline no longer works. However, depending on your service, they may have given you a temporary number. Since you won't actually be able to see the port happen, that would take a reboot of your phone. Or, if you log into your account under profile, you'd see the number change.
Public Mobile's self serve account does not give any indication of whether porting has completed. Whenever a Public Mobile request a phone number to be ported in, any temporary phone number will immediately be replaced and be reflected in the self serve account. This happens before porting has even been completed.

@Jquan how long have you been waiting for the landline transfer? Unlike cell number transfers which usually only takes a few hours, landline transfers take several days. If you have been waiting for more than 3 days you can reach a support agent to see if they have any updates for you.

can you confirm what did not work for you? the login did not work? or the port did not work and you cannot receive calls ? or you cannot even make outgoing calls?
