The Telus outage in Alberta not really around Edmonton.. and the outage service in AB is not cellular yet.
@771 you try rebooting your phone? any friends in your area using Telus or PM?

Do you know of another PM customer near you with the same results?
Try these trouble shooting tips to see if anything helps, while keeping an eye on outages.
Try one or more of the below:
*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot
*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it
*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode
*reset network settings
