Re: Call Control to prevent spam calls?

If it is true that public mobile does not offer call control I guess I will have to leave for another carrier. I have recieved 32 spam calls this week (its only friday morning) and I am at the point that it's going to make me insane.

I have to agree o THE best suggestion to not answer your phone. Make darn sure your message box is empty so people can leave you messages IF it is important. I had an issue last year where I was tossed onto a "Furnace Cleaner" bunch of calls. Even despite trying to block them, they found another way. Just let my phone ring after I got fed up and the calls finally dried up.

Best of luck towards the fight on spam/scam callers out there. Stay determined and you're not alone!

if you make it a habit to not answer any incoming calls unless you recognize the calling number, eventually those spam calls will reduce drastically. If it's a legit call they can leave a message and you can call them back at your leisure. I've adopted this method and my spam calls are almost nonexistent...maybe 3 per month.  Once the bad guys know that you'll answer all calls...well...you found out what happens. Give my suggestion a try for 60 days...you should see great reduction in spam calls if you just don't answer all calls.
