How does the new rewards benefit users compared to existing ?
Do users have to register for this new rewards with the same email id as registered with PM phone# ?
If a user has multiple PM phone#'s, can they link multiple PM phones#'s for the new rewards against one single email id ?

@hellopanda Sorry, you missed the boat 😞
Yes, it was only couple days notice for the new reward systems, I don't think it was even one full week.
and yes, Autopay $2 is gone with the loyalty rewards, those are big lost long term

I'm actually disappointed that the rewards system changed. I was waiting to activate my PM SIM until the balance from my old provider ran out, but that happened to be just after PM switched their rewards. I really wanted the autopay benefit since it would make my bill similar to what I was paying my old provider but now that's completely gone 😛

The points system is no more additional money if you been here 8,9,10,11 years or just 1 year.
It's simply $10 points each year.
there is a one time bonus for being a long time customer. for being with PM for 6 years they would get 72 points for switching to the points program

@Crissyls : It's likely a one way street. Not likely able to go back.
Edit: I see you figured out to reply.

How do you switch back to the old one? I literally just switched to the new points plan and am trying to navigate through it 😆

@Zyl yes I know. Honestly don't even know why I wrote it now 😂 probably cause I breezed over your post and seen "right off the bat".. I don't now🤷🏻♂️. Sorry

@makkahn28, you can stay on the current rewards program as long as it is offered. I would never say indefinitely as in the past Pioneer plan holders did have to move to a current in-market plan, even though they were grandfathered for a couple of years.

@BeachNBeer But it was VK who was talking about the autopay reward no longer existing, not me.

@BeachNBeer @darlicious, I didn't write that auto-pay discount info. LOL That was a quote from VK.

Right off the bat no more $2 for auto-pay with the new points program.
@BeachNBeer, for new customers who sign up with Public Mobile that is. Right off the bat though, one gets 5 points which is equivalent of $5 upon enrolling in the new points reward system.

@makkahn28 wrote:I am actually trying to get to the bottom of this, so to ask and get the correct info
Just not sure, if 5% is 0.05 or 0.5
But, also am hoping PM is trying to find the sweet spot that would not be conceived as wide-gap unfair
@makkahn28 It's 0.05, 5 / 100 = 0.05. It is 5% of your plan cost, e.g. if your plan cost is $50, your reward points at 5% of the plan cost would be 50 X 0.05 = 2.5 points. Each point is equal to $1 dollar so your reward in dollar terms under the new points system would be $2.5.

@makkahn28 Lol I am starting to get confused with your numbers.
The points system is no more additional money if you been here 8,9,10,11 years or just 1 year.
It's simply $10 points each year.
01-26-2022 03:11 PM
@makkahn28 maybe that's for grandfathered plans??.... No idea.
One of my accounts is at $4 per month. Soon to be $5.
01-26-2022 03:11 PM
I've had this plan for about 5 closing on 6 Yrs now
So, the new 10 Points per 12 Months
10 x 6 would be, = 60 Points or $60
I'm assuming that it does not stay on the system in perpetuity, like how in Shark Tank, Mr. Wonderful's Version of Perpetuity
01-26-2022 03:07 PM
@BeachNBeer @VK , The rewards for the Loyalty was Capped at Only 5 Yrs, which is $3 per yr
Max I was aware, was $15 which is applied every time Bill renewal comes
Referral is $3 if on 90 Day per Referral
01-26-2022 03:04 PM
so you benefit 7.5 against 6 from existing. But again.. you should also consider following:

Basically in points on points program you get:
So really the only one that you're actually getting same amount in points as you are on current old rewards. Is the referral.
01-26-2022 03:02 PM
Auto-Pay Reward $6, $2 per Month
Just trying to figure out all this.
Better to try thy hand in Mathematics
01-26-2022 03:01 PM
I get $6
01-26-2022 02:58 PM
for $150, how much rewards you get currently? is it $2 per payment or $6( ie $2 each for 3months ) ?
01-26-2022 02:51 PM
For existing users, better to stick with existing rewards program, even for users paying $40-50/month plans as math doesn't sum up to existing rewards.
01-26-2022 02:49 PM
@BeachNBeer @VK , Here's one such question
As my Plan being Grandfathered in, it based on the 90 day, $150
I pay $150
Does it mean 150 Points, or is it only 7.5 Points?

@makkahn28 It may be favorable for some to switch to the new program. and other's it is not. Some might be interested in the rewards that they will eventually realease with redemption of points and who knows maybe contests to win phone, etc. Then of course contest are like a 1 in X amount of winning and just blowing points for nothing. For me the current rewards is best. 2 of my accounts the bill is $0 a month for last few years. If I were to switch I'd have to start paying for them lol.
01-26-2022 02:39 PM
@BeachNBeer @VK , Perhaps PM is reshaping the system, maybe for the better, But, what if in the short-term, like how any business starts from day 1, it's hard, but that in the long-term, It might be grand, If We gave it the chance to bloom
01-26-2022 02:38 PM
@makkahn28 You'd always have the option to switch to the points program in the future if it eventually comes worth it for you.
01-26-2022 02:36 PM
What if the % went up at some point, like how Inflation
Maybe that would generate some zest

@makkahn28 Have you read the details that displays in your account or the email?
There is not really loyalty anymore either....said something like they will give a point for each month your been with them. Then going forward it's 10 points ($10) every 12 months.
