Questions about 34$/50G plan

Hello, I just ordered a SIM card for the 50GB/34$/month plan, I just had a few questions about it

1: Can I pause this plan later during May~August? I plan to resume it during September.

2: Can I keep my original phone number when changing the SIM card from my previous other company provider? Will it automatically be ported? Would I have to contact my previous provider company, or pause my plan on their website? To port my same phone number that is.

Thank you so much,

As long as the number is eligibile to be porting to Public Mobile (has to be active, has to be from a city that Public Mobile also issues numbers for, etc.), you can choose to transfer the number to Public Mobile if you wish. It has no effect on your plan.  Porting in a number during activation or later on (or even changing your phone number) does not change your plan.

As for "pausing" your plan, it goes into suspended status if payment isn't made to for a renewal.  Disable autopay so that your credit card doesn't automatically get charged.  Please remember that if your account stays suspended for 90 days, your account would get permanently closed and the phone umber would be lost.

@geremi142  Yes you will have opportunity to port number over from old provider when you activate the sim on the PM app leaving old providers SIM card in the phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to port . Once it’s successfully ported over to PM it will automatically close your old providers account .

and yes you can pause your plan when you go away by suspending the account

Yes you can suspend the account for up to 90 days before the account is closed . Just turn off auto subscribe

once toggled off you service will suspend on your renewal day rather then renew the plan. . From this date you have 90 days to not pay so on the 85-88 day you want to make manual payment to resume services and keep your plan and phone . If you let this go longer then 90 days  your account will be closed
